Eating healthy is a habit that supports our weight, energy levels, body functions and mental health! It’s an important part of maintaining good health but it can also be hard to do when we are overwhelmed with busy schedules and convenient fast food.
This is something that I’ve always struggled with, so last week I finally decided to give meal prepping a go. I’ve heard a lot of good things about it over the past few years and figured it never hurts to try!
I’ve broken down the top 3 pros and cons that I’ve noticed down below, and I even included the most delicious homemade salad dressing recipe at the end.
It’s super convenient to be able to grab healthy meals and go.
It’s an easy way to save money if you’re shopping sales.
It’s a fun way to spend time with your significant other or kids.
If you’re only prepping one or two dishes it can get old, fast.
It’s a waste if you don’t eat what you prepped in time (unless you freeze it).
It takes time to get into the habit and routine of meal prepping.

DIY Burst of Basil Salad Dressing
½ cup extra virgin olive oil
1-2 cloves garlic, minced
1 drop Basil+
1 drop Black Pepper+
3 drops Lemon+
½ tsp salt
3 Whisk all ingredients together until well combined.
Add to your salad and enjoy!
